The Subway Menu has expanded to include Avocado this summer. Avocado is a great source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat, which help combat against Heart Disease. Containing 20 essential nutrients, avocados are a great addition to a vegan diet. But Subway may not keep avocado on its menu permanently.
Avocado was added to the menu for Subway to promote the movie Green Lantern. The promotion ends mid-July and at that time the individual franchisees will make the decision of whether or not to keep avocado on their menu. Encourage them to keep this delicious, healthy fruit by purchasing it with your Veggie Delight or leaving them comments expressing your desire to have this option at Subway.
